Welcome

Bliss can be defined as "supreme happiness; utter joy or contentment; heaven; paradise." I think that bliss is a wonderful adjective to describe my life. But I'd be kidding myself to think it was completely perfect...thus "imperfect bliss." You'll find there is no rhythm or organization to my posts...merely ramblings of my life as a mother of three. Feel free to join us on our journey. Life is a journey after all...

Faux pas.

In my spare time (you know...that time when I should be folding laundry, cleaning, organizing, blah, blah, blah...), I like to read blogs about photography.  I love getting ideas, learning how to edit, shoot, etc.  But something you rarely see on these blogs is what really comes out of the photographer's camera shoot.  I mean, you see the perfect shots that need a little help with processing or a photo that could use a different angle.  What I'm talking about is the photos that I get when I try to shoot my kids (with the camera...).

Needless to say, I decided it was time for a fall photo shoot...so Brad and I took the kids to a local park.  Finley was good for about 5 minutes...and only 5 minutes.  Can I tell you how much fun it is to take pictures of kids when none of them will look at the camera, two are constantly fighting, and one is screaming like a princess??

Yes.  Good times.

OK kids, look at Mommy!!
 Look at Mommeeeeeeee!!!
If you look at Mommy and smile, I'll buy you a Happy Meal!!!!
Are you freaking kidding me????  LOOK AT MOMMY AND SMILE, DAMNIT.
 OK.  Walk it off.
 Wait for it...

As Saywer would say, "Booyah!!!"  I think that deserves a celebratory cocktail.

Cheers!!!
